Ella just turned 2 months old on the 14th and we took her in for her check up. She now weighs 9 lbs., 13 ozs. and is 20 3/4 inches long. Everyone always tells you how fast they grow, but I never realized it until I had my own. I'm sure the doctor's and nurse's say this to everyone, but they kept going on about how beautiful she is and how pretty her eyes are. We like to think that they only said it to us and... we agree!! I mean have you seen her?
I thought you would agree!!!
Me Maw and Paw Paw came in this weekend and were a great help. Not only did they help with Ella, they helped us get some much needed house work done. We cleaned out the garage and hung some things in Ella's room. A room which she has yet to sleep in but is hers all the same. Paw Paw also helped Sam put a dogie door in to the garage for the cats to get to their litter box. We tried and failed at potty training them so we're back to the litter box, but this time not in the house. He also installed some lights under our cabinets in the kitchen. Sam and I are already working on a new list for the next visit.
My arm is getting better every day. I still can't lift her with both hands and cannot fully extend my arm, but Sam is doing a great job at getting my therapy done. Here is a picture of my arm right after I got my stitches out. It's pretty ugly here and very swollen but looks a lot better now.
We have been going for walks around the neighborhood in the evenings when the weather permits. When ever Tucker sees us take out the stroller he gets all excited because he knows what we're about to do. Then we put his harness and leash on and it's like a death sentence for him. He got so use to living at the apartment and not having to wear it that he thinks it's punishment now.
